I am absolutely humbled and surprised that I was nominated for the Versatile Blogger Award this week. I've always loved crafts and DIY projects, and I started this blog to keep me on track to actually start and finish my projects. I'm still learning from all the awesome and talented bloggers out there, and I love the new connections and friendships that I am making!

7 RANDOM facts about me:


1. In about a week, I will celebrate my 20th year anniversary with Hubs, and we have 2 wonderful daughters (and they're teenagers!) who make me proud every day.


2. I'm an educator - currently a high school assistant principal. It's my calling, and I have a strong belief in public schools. 


3. I'm also a softball pitching instructor. I've been giving lessons for about 22 years.

4. I host a free "10-Day Health & Fitness Challenge" each month. It begins on the 10th day of the month, and participants get a daily email of health and wellness tips along with a workout of the day, and they can join the Facebook accountability group. I've hosted a group every month for the past two years, and lots of participants' lives have changed because of it!


5. Because of my belief in living a healthy life, I'm also an independent consultant for Arbonne International, a health and wellness company. 


6. Weirdly enough, I like to pack my own groceries at the grocery store. And it makes me angry when the bagger does a sloppy job.

7. I LOVE reality TV (You name it, I probably record it on my DVR!)
