5 LAST-MINUTE July 4th Ideas!

I am out of town and will be back on July 3rd. So I've been looking for easy-to-fix treats for July 4th. We'll be at the lake on our boat for the day and I want a patriotic theme for lunch and when we come home, I want some easy treats to serve while we watch fireworks.

These treats from 5 Minutes for Mom look wonderful. I could do these, and the fruit is a bonus! (I bet these would keep in the cooler to have at the lake, too!)

My girls have just recently started to like ice-cream sandwiches, so these from Family Fun are perfect for the 4th!

Another twist on ice cream treats...
Chocolate ice cream cones decorated with sprinkles add a fun touch to your party decorations.
These are from All You magazine. Click HERE for the "how-to"

Here's a great idea from Better Homes & Garden for packing sandwiches (or hot dogs & hamburgers) for a July 4th picnic (That's us!!)

And.. if I'm going to be cutting watermelon to take with us to the lake... why not cut it into fun shapes?
 Fourth of July!

I hope everyone has a safe and happy Fourth of July!
