My Basement Re-Do

I hope you like what I've done with the basement. I'm really proud of Hubs for thinking about painting the ceiling grid black. My parents have a black grid in their finished basement and it really looks good.

{Of course} we haven't done the entire basement, just the side we were working on this weekend. So here's a shot of the ceiling on the other side:

The white is not too bad... it definitely looks better in the picture. :)

What do you think of the black grid?

**Notice the ugly ivory-colored bifold doors in the right side of the photo? They hide the hot water heater under the stairs. We're going to replace those with white doors soon.**

Look closely in the picture below... on the left you can see the one little piece of grid that I forgot to paint! LOL!

I'm love-love-loving the new colors and I can't wait to use some of the ideas I've been collecting on Pinterest.

Here's the one thing I'm NOT loving:

That's my treadmill behind there! I can still get to it and use it, but I'm a little claustrophobic and I kind of get the heebs while I'm on it with that big ol' piece of furniture there.
