If you've been following along, you probably agree that I need this pillow for Christmas. (It's NOT on my Christmas List) :)
I am proud to say that we finally did it and yesterday we finished our board and batten treatment in our foyer and hallway.
Start to finish, it took us 12 days. (I think we finished yesterday because we knew we were having company last night - but hey, whatever works, right?)
I really had to remember the nester's words... "It doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful." There are parts that I wish were better finished, etc... but I really do love it and feel like I'm at the beach or lake when I look at it.

View from the master bedroom. (The hallway looks really narrow in this picture. Not sure if it's the treatment or just how the picture turned out.... it's not really that narrow.)
Weird how you notice all the things on the wall / ceiling that are just part of the house... smoke alarm, doorbell, security system, thermostat...)
Had to get my starfish in there! ;)
What do you think? Totally crazy to tackle the project? Worth the time and effort?
