I'm an educator. It's not just what I do, but it's who I am.
I love vintage, too, so I thought... why don't I take a peek at Pinterest and see if there are any vintage items that I can use to decorate with?
Even if you're not an educator... there may some items that you remember and love, too.
I would love love love to have a vintage map in my home. I was not a good history student and I've never traveled out of the country, so I'm not sure why I love these maps.
How about this! I think I will try covering the table in my foyer with a map. (Mom, I hope you're not reading this!)
I remember these baskets from junior high PE class. These would be great in my laundry room.
When I get together with my "summer buddies" in a couple of months, this would be a fun centerpiece for our get-together.
This chair reminds me of 5th grade. We had to bring in contact paper and cover our desk tops - No bubbles! And, in this teacher's class, we could only use pen, only write in cursive, and we could not turn in any paper with scratch-outs. We had to use liquid paper over our mistakes.
Would you ever decorate with vintage school items? What other ideas do you have?
